Creative Papercraft Scrapbook Layout 3- Summer Sunset

Hello Friends!

Here is my Third Scrapbook Layout from the recent Publication

Creative Papercraft

Materials

Blue Fern Studios Designer Paper

White Acrylic paint

Adirondac Color Wash Coloured Inks Cranberry and Espresso

Tim Holtz Thinlits Mixed Media Die used as stencil

Aleene's Glitter snow Texture paste

Sherri Baldy Champagne Pink Glitter

Wood Wool

Prima Flowers and Little Birdie Flowers

Shells and Sea Grasses

Dusty Attic Chipboard

Crafty originals Chipboard Title

Gold Ultra thick Embossing Enamel

8 Seasons Display Gold metal leaves

Recycled Clothing Tag with Metal word embellishment

Tiny Glass bottle with Gold Seed beads

Clear Texture paste, Gold seed beads and Brown Seed Beads

General Instructions For Multi Media Scrapbook Layouts

Use a thicker type Cardstock for Base ( I like Blue Fern Studio, as they are nice and sturdy and have lovely patterns to work with)

Brush on a light coating of White Gesso or Acrylic Paint in the areas you wish to embellish surrounding your photo. This will help to make the colours you apply next more vivid.

Spray a few squirts of Coloured inks to compliment the colours in your photo, Add a few drops of water to dilute the colours and move your base cardstock around to make runs and drips. You could also move the colour around with a paint brush. Remove excess colour by dabbing with paper towel.

Dry with a heat gun.

Add some interesting effects with Stencils and Texture paste, I like Arlenes Snow, or Arlenes Glitter snow as it is White and you can sprinkle glitters and embossing powders over it while it is still wet. Dry with Heat Gun.

I like to add height to my Photos, this gives a nice bit of extra area to embellish on, around and tucked under my photos. So I will use old cardboard boxes cut into pieces and taped with double sided tape behind my photo and mats.

Choose Flowers and embellishments in colours that you find in your photos. Chipboard die cuts can add a lot of interest when tucked in under the sides of your focal photo. Chipboard words look lovely when inked with a clear embossing ink like Versamark and embossed with your favourite Powders. Play around with placing your embellishments before gluing.

I like to use a Hot Glue gun to adhere my Embellishments as they will set and stay quickly.

Lastly think about adding some clear drying texture paste in among your flowers and sprinkle on some Micro beads, seed beads, pearls or Prills for a nice effect.

Thanks for looking

Today is good Bestie Planner page

Hello Ladies!

I have finally gotten around to decorating my first planner page for the year!

I got my wonderful new Kaiser Planner for Christmas,

and teamed it with the gorgeous

Sherri Baldy Planner Journal Sticker Sheets.

I have used the TODAY IS GOOD Planner Journal Sticker Sheet that you just down load and print out.

I guess it would be wonderful to print it onto Stick Paper but I don't have any so I just cut and glue my pieces to my planner.

I also added some pretty Washi Tapes and did some doodling as well to add some colour!

The cute little flowers are Little Birdie from CraftyArtie.

Have a wonderful day!

Instructions
Score card base as per Diagram at 6cm, 8cm, 13.5cm and 15cm then trim 1cm from the unscored end.
Take the half card piece and cut so you have a 10cm x15cm piece and a 5cmx15cm piece.
Cut a butterfly border from the 5x15cm piece and adhere the card base pieces as shown to form an easel card base.

Cut from your coloured card stock 13.5cmx14.5cm for easel base and 9.5cm x14.5cm for card front.
Cut from decorative paper 13cmx14cm for easel base and 9cmx14cm for card front
Adhere these pieces to card base

Cut one of the 3D Images from the sheet using the largest Oval Die and Cut a Scalloped oval from the Coloured cardstock and mat these together.
Fussy Cut the remaining 3D images so that more of the image is removed each time, to create a 3 Dimensional effect. Layer the images with small foam squares. Adhere to left front of Card top.

Mat your Calendar tab with coloured cardstock. Adhere with a small piece of lace at bottom edge to right of Card top.

Cut a 11cmx11cm Square from Card stock for your Post-it's and score as per diagram at 1.5cm in from all sides.
Cut out a half round with a Circle Punch on 1 edge as shown
Cut small slits in 4 corners as shown and adhere/construct to form your holder.
Glue this to front centre of Card Base with a strip of pretty lace underneath, along front edge.
Glue in your Post-it notes

Cut a second Butterfly Border out of Decorate paper and cut into individual Butterflies and Adhere over the card base butterflies, bending up their wings to form dimension.

Now all that is needed is to embellish with your paper flowers and cute butterfly punch outs.
