Handmade Paper Doily Flowers and Die Cuts

Hello Friends!

I have a new card for the Aussie My-Besties Challenge today.

The Theme is Die Cuts and Handmade flowers

This cute little mermaid is a new digi by Sherri Baldy and can be found HERE

I have coloured her with my Promarkers.

My Handmade flowers - I used my Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die to Cut lots of layers out of paper Doilies. I then coloured them with my Promarkers in the same colours as my Image. Then It was just a matter of layering them up, scrunching them and adding pearl stamens to the centres.

I used some die cuts to add interest to the top and sides of the card, and made a tag that I tied on with pink tulle ribbon, and lace. I added some pearls and cute starfish.

I added lots of shells and a type of seaweed that I found on the beach.

Behind the image is some Cheesecloth, lace and mesh ribbon.

This card I am entering in the following:

I have a second card as well

I am entering this card in the following:

I love this Fairy Digi she can be found HERE

She is coloured with my Promarkers and I have drawn in a little garden at her feet.

For my Handmade flowers this time - I made some fabric Yo-Yos and layered them with Black Petaloo Fabric Flowers, a small dyed Doily and a button.

I also used other flowers from my stash and some pretty charms.

I have used a lot of Die Cuts all over my easel card including the Tim Holtz Butterfly Border.

I enjoyed making my own flowers for this challenge, and I am sure you will too when you join in the challenge!
