Easter Fun at Sami Stamps

Hello Ladies!

Easter is getting closer and I have been making lots of Easter cards and treats!

Here is the new release at Sami Stamps

I love Eater Projects, Its just something to do with pretty spring colours, yummy eggs and treats, and family time!

My Children are very excited about Easter as we are going camping this year as a family. All 5 children and my Hubby and I in tents LOL should be fun! Or maybe just crazy, LOL I will let you know!

Here is what I made with Easter Chick! I made some cute treat tubes with  rosette and Image at the top! The images are coloured with Pro Markers!

These will be for my little Bella's Kindy Class, I have more to make yet but will be doing a few more different projects as well to cover 30 children LOL . I think I have 2 more weeks! Had better get busy!

I have made all of my papers for these projects, with Water colour paper and Ink Sprays. Some sprays I made up using mini Misters and Distress inks. I have quite a lot of inks so had a great range of colours to use!

I also used some of my collection of stencils to spray through. I just love this effect at the moment and am also using it to make paper to cover albums, and mixed media work!

For my Card with Easter Chick, I have coloured with my ProMarkers. I used My Paper, Black card to set off the colours, Lace and Pink pleated ribbon. Then a selection of flowers from my collection and a sentiment from Pink Petticoat Boutique.

I am entering the above chicky card in the following:

Sentiments on my treats are from Pink Petticoat Boutique .

I have used Easter Egg Collection to make this card above. I printed them on to Water Colour paper, And Have coloured them with Re- inkers!

Here is a brief description of how they are coloured. I watered down some ink and painted in the area needed being careful not to go right to the edge of the Black lines.  Then added straight colour (un-watered) to the edges of the painted area of the egg, you will find the darker ink will bleed into the lighter ink so it would be darker at the edges. Leaving a gap between colours stops the colours bleeding together.

Once dry I cut out the eggs wrapped them with natural cotton twine, and added a rose in co-coordinating colour.

I have again used my own patterned paper and Black Card, some lace and seam binding bow, Diamante Button and Pink Petticoat Boutique sentiment!

I am entering my egg card in the following challenges:

I hope you enjoy these projects! I had a lot of fun with them!

Please drop by Sami Stamp Blog and join the current challenge for some great prizes!
