Altered Bird Cage with Bestie Fairy

Hello Again Ladies!

Welcome to my Blog!

You can find the link to my BLOG CANDY HERE.

I have a really fun project to show you that I made Yesterday for the

I thought I would have a go at making an altered bird cage. I have had this slightly broken bird cage for a while. It was great to finally use it!

I have used this gorgeous Bestie called Cynthia and you can find her HERE

I have coloured her with my ProMarkers.

Photo Inspiration

Close ups of the 2 little birds I have used!

I managed to find a lot of lovely flowers and bits in my stash to use.

Including some silver glitter branches that I found at Christmas time.

I am always on the look out LOL.

Above you can see some altered dominoes and Glass Pebbles, that I made some time ago!

Below you can see the Vintage Seed Packet Paper that I found on Pinterest, I mounted it and Placed inside the rear of the birdcage.

Also an old earring that I made years ago, and lost one. I have hung it from the top inside of the cage.

The cage had no base, so I covered an old Paper-Mache box to sit it on.

This picture above shows the inside a bit better.

I used a piece of old crochet Tablecloth over the top of the box.

This little Bestie Fairy is quite pleased with her new home! x

Side view above and back view below!

I used 2 big seam binding bows in White as well. And chipboard flourishes painted with white Distress Crackle Paint.

I hope you have enjoyed taking a look at my Bird Cage! And Maybe it will inspire you to make one of your own!

Also take a look at the beautiful cards made by the Design Team!
